Man robbed at gunpoint

A 20-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint Nov. 20, Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Joe Crider said.

The victim came to the BPD lobby Nov. 20 at 3 p.m. to report he had been robbed earlier that day.

At about midnight, the man said he heard a knock at the door and when he went to answer it, three males forced their way into the apartment.

One of the suspects pointed a gun at the victim.

Two of the suspects were described as white and in their early 20s. The man with the gun was also described as 5-foot-8 with a medium build.

The third suspect was a black male described as about 6 feet tall with a medium build and wearing a hoodie.

The victim said one of the males indicated he was a member of a gang and they were there for a robbery.

The men stole a television, laptop and cell phone. The case is active, and BPD is following up on some leads.
