James Finney, 24, was sentenced Wednesday to 65 years for the murder of Pizza X employee Adam Sarnecki, 22. This is the maximum sentence.
On top of this, Finney was sentenced to two eight-year sentences for the other two felony charges for his possession of a handgun. He would serve the two eight-year sentences concurrently, following the 65-year sentencing, resulting in a total sentence of 73 years.
Finney plans to appeal the sentencing. He has been appointed a public defender.
