IU falls to Michigan, 82-57

INDIANAPOLIS --- Junior forward Cyesha Goree finished with a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead Michigan to a 82-57 win over IU.

Freshman guard Alexis Gassion led the Hoosiers with 12 points.

IU jumped out to a quick 9-6 lead, scoring five points in the first 50 seconds. But Michigan would dominate the rest of the half, shooting 50 percent from the field.

After leading by as many as 18 in the first half, the Wolverines never relinquished their double-digit lead.

The Hoosiers have not advanced past since the 2008-2009 season.
