Woman reports sexual assault to BPD

A 21-year-old woman reported to Bloomington Police Department Monday morning that she was sexually assaulted in her north side apartment Feb. 28.

The woman told police she and her roommates threw a party in their apartment. She reported a 22-year-old man sexually assaulted her in her upstairs bedroom, BPD Sgt. Joe Crider said.

Though the man has been identified, no witnesses at the party reported anything unusual.
The investigation is ongoing.
