HALFTIME: IU leads Northwood 38-33

In its season-opening exhibition at Assembly Hall, IU leads Northwood, 38-33, at halftime. The Hoosiers struggled in the game's opening minutes, with two turnovers, two missed 3-pointers and two blocked shots on their first five possessions.

Freshman guard James Blackmon, Jr., leads the Hoosiers with 13 points, connecting on all six of his free throw attempts. Junior guards Kevin 'Yogi' Ferrell and Nick Zeisloft added 10 and seven points, respectively.

Dylan Langkabel and Khalid King each scored seven points to lead Northwood in the first half.

After averaging 16 3-point attempts per game last season, the Hoosiers took 14 3-shots from long distance in the first half, connecting on four.
