The first half of Monday night's IU-Texas Southern game turned into the Robert Johnson Show.
The freshman guard piled up an impressive stat line of 17 points, three rebounds and four assists in 19 minutes to give IU a 44-29 lead at halftime. He went 6-of-7 from the field and hit all three of his 3-point attempts.
Behind him, junior guard Yogi Ferrell tallied 11 points and three assists, and junior forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea scored eight points, one shy of the career-high nine he scored in Friday's season opener.
The Hoosiers continued their hot shooting from Friday's 116-point performance, shooting 61 percent from the field in the first half.
Junior forward Tonnie Collier led Texas Southern with seven points.
