IU to play Duke in ACC/Big Ten challenge

IU will play defending national champion Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Dec. 2 in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, the program announced Wednesday.

The game will likely be IU’s marquee non-conference matchup and one of the best of the season as both the Hoosiers and Blue Devils are projected to be top 15 teams in most preseason polls. Duke will have to replace four players in its starting lineup after cutting down the nets in Indianapolis in April, but Coach Mike Krzyzewski will reload with the nation’s No. 1 recruiting class, according to ESPN and 247 Sports.

IU is 3-4 all-time against Duke, last playing the Blue Devils in a 54-51 loss in November 2006 in Durham, N.C.
