IU added its third commit in the 2016 class Sunday when Auburn High School running back Tyus Flakes announced via Twitter he will be attending IU.
Flakes is a 3-star prospect from Alabama, according to 247sports, who visited IU over the weekend. He chose IU over a long list of smaller southern colleges and joins Cincinnati quarterback Peyton Ramsey and lineman Ryan Smith in the 2016 class.
"Beyond blessed to be able to say that I've committed to Indiana University to pursue my academics & athletic career!" Flakes said on Twitter.
Flakes ran for 1,391 yards and 10 touchdowns in his junior season. He has 2,802 rushing yards in his high school career.
