A look at the upcoming Parks and Recreation entertainment schedule

Summertime never fails to bring a wealth of concerts and musical performances to the Bloomington community. Below are just a few of the concerts coming to Bloomington throughout the rest of the month, sponsored by the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department.

8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, April through September in the Showers Commons

9-10:30 a.m. Bloomington Songwriters Showcase Singer/Songwriter

11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bloomington High School North Band Program High School Band Ensemble

The Tuesday Market

4-7 p.m. Tuesdays, June through September at the corner of Sixth and Madison Streets, next to Bloomingfoods near West Side

This is the Tuesday component to the Saturday Farmers’ Market.
