IU will play Wake Forest in its first game in the championship round of the Maui Invitational, according to ESPN’s Andy Katz. The Hoosiers and Kansas Jayhawks are reportedly anchoring the two sides of the bracket.
The championship round will take place Nov. 23-25 at the Lahaina Civic Center, and the bracket will be officially announced Tuesday.
IU will face St. John’s or Vanderbilt in the second round. In addition to Kansas, Chaminade, UCLA and UNLV are on the opposite side of the bracket from the Hoosiers.
The event also includes opening and regional rounds. Austin Peay will travel to Bloomington for a matchup against IU Nov. 16 in Assembly Hall during the opening round of the Maui Invitational.
