Russell Taylor is sentenced to 27 years in prison. He says during the sentencing that Fogle encouraged him to make recordings of children, which Fogle denies. Taylor must serve at least 85 percent of his sentence.

In a court filing released Friday, Fogle’s attorneys requested a five-year prison term for their client. This is shorter than the 12 ½-year prison term the prosecution is seeking. The prosecution also requests that a lifetime of supervised probation follow this prison term.

FBI raids home of Subway spokesman and IU alum, Jared Fogle
FBI agents raided the home of Jared Fogle on Tuesday morning in connection with a child pornography investigation. The director of Fogle's foundation, Russell Taylor, was arrested on charges of child pornography in April.

The man now known as “the Subway guy,” who became famous for shedding the equivalent of a small offensive lineman, is celebrating a decade of keeping the weight off.
