FINAL (2 OT): Michigan 48, IU 41

IU lost 48-41 to No. 14 Michigan in double overtime.

After running the ball for every play since early in the fourth quarter, IU passed on 4th and 1 at the goal line. The pass to junior receiver Mitchell Paige went incomplete to end the game.

Junior running back Jordan Howard finished the game with 238 yards and two touchdowns on 35 carries.

Michigan quarterback Jake Rudock completed 33-of-46 passes for 440 yards and six touchdowns.

IU took a 34-27 lead on an eight play, 69-yard drive that was all run plays. The Hoosiers left 2:52 on the clock.

Michigan then launched its own 66-yard drive concluding with a fourth down 5-yard touchdown pass to Jehu Chesson with two seconds left to tie the game.
