IU adds 3-star athlete to 2016 class

As National Signing Day approaches, IU is closing in on finishing up its 2016 recruiting class. The program moved a step closer Wednesday with the
commitment of Florida athlete Brandon Drayton.

Drayton is a 3-star athlete from Largo High School.

Largo may sound familiar to IU fans, as current freshmen Jonathan
Crawford and Donovan Hale attended the school.

Drayton became the 13th high school member of the 2016 class for IU.

He was recruited primarily by IU secondary coach Noah Joseph and is expected to play on the defensive side of the ball.

Drayton was originally a Nebraska commit, but decommitted Dec. 4, 2015, the same day he visited IU.
