IU cruises to win against Ohio State

IU never trailed in its 85-60 win against Ohio State on Saturday at Assembly Hall. The Hoosiers started the game on a 10-0 run, and the game was never really closer than that.

By halftime, IU (14-3, 4-0) had a 30-point lead and junior forward Troy Williams had 16 points, only two fewer points than Ohio State (11-6, 3-1) as a team. Williams would finish with 23 points.

IU had no trouble finding space around Ohio State's basket throughout the game, finishing with 40 points in the paint and 32 second chance points off 17 offensive rebounds. Ohio State finished with only five second chance points.

Freshman center Thomas Bryant finished with his first career double-double, tallying 20 points and 13 rebounds.

Ohio State freshman Jaquan Lyle led all scorers with 27 points.

The Hoosiers next play Saturday at Minnesota.
