IU ranked No. 19 in AP poll

Head Coach Tom Crean yells instructions during IU's game against Ohio State on Sunday at Assembly Hall. The Hoosiers won 85-60.

From IDS Reports

The Hoosiers moved up to No. 19 in the AP poll after beating Illinois and Northwestern, each by at least 30 points last week.

The Hoosiers entered the AP poll last week at No. 25 and are also ranked No. 17 in the USA Today Coaches Poll.

IU is now the highest-ranked team in the state of Indiana, ahead of No. 21 Purdue and No. 25 Notre Dame. The Fighting Irish entered the AP top 25 this week, meaning the Hoosiers now have a win against a ranked opponent.

IU will have its 12-game winning streak tested this week Tuesday at unranked Wisconsin and Saturday at home against unranked Minnesota.
