DES MOINES, Iowa — The Hoosiers could do little wrong Thursday night. They beat Chattanooga 99-74 and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.

The Hoosiers shot 65 percent from the field and were led by 20 points from senior guard Yogi Ferrell. He finished the game shooting 6-for-13 from the field and 4-of-7 from behind the arc. Ferrell also delivered 10 assists for his first career double-double.

Freshman forward OG Anunoby also scored 14 points for the Hoosiers, including a couple highlight reel dunks. He didn't miss a shot until there was 4:12 left in the game, finishing 6-of-7 from the field including a perfect 2-for-2 from behind the arc.

Sophomore guard Robert Johnson came off the bench to play for the first time since spraining his ankle in a 77-73 win against Purdue on Feb. 20. He scored seven points while also dishing out six assists and showing no mobility limitations.

IU will play next in the second round of the NCAA Tournament on Saturday against the winner of Kentucky vs. Stony Brook, which started shortly after IU's victory.
