Chi Omega Little 500 rider Alison Schwieterman had a seizure and crashed her bike while riding with the rest of her team to the track, said a member of the sorority.
The crash occurred near Law Lane and Jordan Avenue, IU Police Department Capt. Stephenson said. Schwieterman, an IU freshman, was taken to IU Health Bloomington Hospital.
Chi Omega’s team is now competing with three riders, the member of the sorority said.
