A woman reported to the Bloomington Police Department that on Nov. 9, while she was leaving Sally Beauty Supply East on 1321 S. College Mall Rd., a white man drove by and harassed her, BPD Sgt. Jason Shaevitz said.
The female, an African American woman, said the man was driving an old, red pickup truck while she was walking along the sidewalk.
The male cursed at her and said, “That’s why Trump is going to deport your ass to Africa.”
The female told police she waited to report until she had spoken to several of her friends about the incident.
The investigation is still active, and the harassment claim is being investigated by BPD.
