IU men’s basketball stayed put in the latest AP Top 25 poll this week checking in at No. 9 for the second consecutive week.
No teams inside of the top 10 shifted in this week’s rankings as the Hoosiers handled their only opponent, Houston Baptist, Saturday 103-61.
The Hoosiers are still the top-ranked team in the Big Ten at No. 9, with Wisconsin and Purdue jumping three spots each in the polls to No. 14 and No. 15 respectively.
IU’s only opponent this week, Butler, dropped two spots in the poll to No. 18 after suffering its first loss of the year at Indiana State. The Hoosiers will face the Bulldogs Saturday at 5 p.m. at the Crossroads Classic in Indianapolis.
All four Indiana teams that will participate in the Crossroads Classic this weekend are ranked with Notre Dame moving up two spots to No. 21 this week after suffering its first loss of the year to No. 1 Villanova. The Fighting Irish will take on the Boilermakers at 2 p.m. and IU-Butler will follow after.
