A 22-year-old woman reported an attempted abduction after a man tried to pull her into a car early Friday morning.
Police were called at about 2 a.m. to the 100 block of East 14th Street. The woman told officers she was walking east on 14th Street when she saw a silver two-door Jeep pull up beside her, Bloomington Police Department Lt. Jeff Canada said.
A man got out of the Jeep, grabbed the victim and tried to pull her into the vehicle. She was able to pull away, and the man got back in the Jeep and drove away.
The suspect is described as an Indian man, about 5 feet 3 inches tall, with a trim build and no facial hair.
