Residents of a Campus Corner apartment are missing two video game consoles and an empty safe after a burglar broke in, possibly through a second-story balcony, police said.
Police responded at about 12:30 a.m. Tuesday to the apartment complex on South Clarizz Boulevard. The residents, who are 23 and 21 years old, told police they’d returned to the apartment and noticed a tennis racket that did not belong to them lying on the floor, Bloomington Police Lt. John Kovach said.
They then noticed the glass of the sliding door leading to the second-floor apartment’s balcony had been shattered. All the other doors were locked, Kovach said, and none showed signs of forced entry.
A PlayStation 4, an Xbox One and an empty safe were taken from the apartment, Kovach said.
