Before the start of its regular season, the IU volleyball team will participate in its annual Cream and Crimson Day this Saturday at the University Gym.
The event will begin at 3:30 p.m. when former players take the court for an alumni match. This is the first time an alumni match will be part of the day's activities.
After the alumni match, this year’s team will play an intrasquad scrimmage between Team Cream and Team Crimson.
The two teams will play three sets, with each set played to 25 points. After the match, fans will be able to receive autographs and take pictures with players and coaches on the 2017 roster.
The Cream and Crimson Day event was created by IU Coach Sherry Dunbar-Kruzan when she took the job in 2007. This is the 11th-straight year of the event.
Admission to the event is free.
