The City of Bloomington Animal Shelter will be closed for four days this week, starting Monday, Feb. 19, according to a city press release.
The shelter is closed to visitations while the building is undergoing additional construction involving a new wing for animal housing.
Staff will still be answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and dispatching Animal Control Officers.
The shelter will reopen for animal visits by Friday, Feb. 23.
