BPD received three reports of vehicle theft Saturday

There were three vehicle thefts reported to the Bloomington Police Department on Saturday. Police have no reason to suspect they are related.

A 2015 silver Honda Civic was stolen from the 700 block of East Sherwood Hills Drive between 5:20 and 5:30 a.m. Saturday. The car’s owner told police they left the keys in the ignition while they let the car warm up.

A 2006 red Ford F350 was noticed missing from the 2100 block of West Fountain Drive on Saturday. It was last seen Tuesday.

The truck was reportedly locked.

A piece of construction equipment was also stolen from the 900 block of North Crescent Road sometime during the same time period. North Crescent Road connects to West Fountain Drive.

The machinery was locked up at the time it was taken, according to the owner.

A 1997 green Buick LeSabre went missing at about 6 p.m. Saturday, the owner told police.

A cell phone and tablet were taken from the car owner's home, and a car seat and stroller were in the car when it was taken.

The owner who called in the theft said they know a family member took the items and the car. The suspect has not been located.
