Due to rain, the IU and Western Kentucky softball matchup set for today has been canceled. There will be no makeup game scheduled.
This is the second week in a row that the Hoosiers have had to cancel a game due to inclement weather.
According to weather.com, there was a 95 percent chance of rain when the game was supposed to begin at 4 p.m.
This was going to be the final home game for the Hoosiers in their stretch, but now they’ll travel to Michigan State. IU currently sits in sole possession of first place in the Big Ten after sweeping No. 18 Ohio State last weekend to open conference play. It’ll be the first of four Big Ten road series.
