A black man robbed the Circle K gas station on West Kirkwood Avenue early Wednesday morning.
The man was approximately 140 pounds and was anywhere from 5'8 to 5'10 in height. He was wearing a pink sweatshirt, gray t-shirt and black sweat pants, and his face was covered by a ski mask. Police are still looking for him.
He entered the station at 1:45 a.m. and threatened the clerk with a silver handgun while demanding money.
The clerk gave him all the money in the cash register and the man fled west on foot. Bloomington police found the pink sweatshirt just west of the gas station.
Nobody was hurt and the case is still active, BPD Capt. Steve Kellams said.
