A Steak 'n Shake employee put a coworker in a headlock and knocked them to the ground late Friday night, according to police.
The 19-year-old employee, Terrance Wheeler, assaulted his fellow employee after an argument about who should get the tip for one of the tables at the Steak 'n Shake on 1919 N College Ave. Bloomington police arrived soon after, and Wheeler was arrested and taken into custody. He was charged with robbery, strangulation and battery.
After putting his coworker on the ground, Wheeler physically took all the money on the table, including the money for the meal itself. According to police, he didn't want to take the money for the bill, he just wanted the tip.
His coworker suffered minor injuries to the neck, ankle and knee, but was otherwise unharmed.
