D.C. trio Flasher to perform at The Bishop

The Bishop

Spirit of ’68 will present a performance by Flasher at 9 p.m. June 19 at The Bishop.

The post-punk trio from Washington, D.C., recently released its debut LP “Constant Image” on June 8. The band recently signed to Domino after emerging on an independent label, Sister Polygon.

The band's three members, Daniel Saperstein, Emma Baker and Taylor Mulitz, met as teenagers and formed separate music groups before coming together as Flasher.

The band has lyrics that touch on topics like body politics, isolationism and the relationship between public and personal identity, according to a press release from Pitch Perfect PR.

The show is 18+ and tickets are $8-10 and can be purchased online.
