An assistant store manager at the Burger King on South Walnut Street called police Sunday night to report someone ripping the sink off the store’s bathroom wall.
The manager told officers a customer noticed a sink in the men’s restroom was laying on the floor around 8:05 p.m., looking like it was torn off of the wall.
After looking through surveillance footage, officers suspect the vandal was a 6-foot, bearded white male roughly in his 30s, wearing glasses and a backpack.
The suspect entered the bathroom around 7:20 p.m. and exited without notifying anyone of the broken sink. The next customer to enter the restroom was the man who reported the vandalism.
