After finishing third in the Big Ten just a few months ago in coach Shonda Stanton’s first campaign, IU softball has a chance to carry that momentum in the fall season.
The Hoosiers will play eight games against five different opponents, with the first game coming on Sept. 23 against Lake Land College.
Then, IU will play a doubleheader against Louisville on Sept. 30. The Hoosiers fell to Louisville back last April, 11-7, after giving up seven runs in the seventh inning.
IU will then head to Evansville to take on the University of Southern Indiana on Oct. 5 and play a doubleheader against the University of Evansville the following day.
The Hoosiers will finish fall play on Oct. 12 by hosting John. A Logan College for a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m. at Andy Mohr Field.
