Around $1,300 worth of construction equipment was stolen Thursday night from the IU Eskenazi Museum of Art, police said.
The museum has been under renovation since May 2017. It is scheduled to be completed by fall 2019.
IU Police Department Capt. Craig Munroe said the equipment included radios, hard hats, saw blades, chargers for cordless tools and more.
Munroe said someone probably opened the lock of a wooden door to the part of the museum under construction.
Police are searching for suspects.
