A 21-year-old man reported Sunday that he was punched in the face Friday around 3 a.m. outside Z&C Teriyaki and Sushi Restaurant.
He told police he was standing outside of the restaurant when a man he didn’t know punched him in the face for no reason.
The man told police he fell to the ground, unconscious, for about ten seconds.
When he went to IU Health Bloomington Hospital the next day, he found he had fractures to the side of his face and decided to make a police report.
Bloomington Police Department Capt. Steve Kellams said the man’s injuries were consistent with someone punched in the eye.
The man described his attacker as someone in his 20s with brown hair.
