An 18-year-old Bloomington woman reported being sexually assaulted by a man she’d previously dated to the Bloomington Police Department on Sunday.
The woman told officers she went into the 22-year-old man’s apartment Nov. 5 and had consensual sex with him, Lt. John Kovach said. Later, when the two were watching a movie together, the man flirted with and kept trying to grab the woman, police said.
The woman kept pushing the man’s hands away, but he persisted, she told officers. He performed oral sex on her against her will, and later the man had intercourse with her as she unsuccessfully tried to push him away, Kovach said.
Once the man stopped, the woman grabbed her clothes, got dressed and was driven home by the man.
She reported the sexual assault to officers around 4:45 p.m. Sunday, telling them she did not go to the hospital afterward. The case is ongoing and police are looking for the man.
