For the second straight year Purdue defeats IU to win the Old Oaken Bucket and to obtain bowl eligibility.
This year's triumph for the Boilermakers comes in Bloomington, marking their first win on the road in this rivalry since 2011.
Rondale Moore had 141 receiving yards and two touchdown receptions on 12 catches, with the touchdown catches being 33 yards and 56 yards in the game.
Stevie Scott and Peyton Ramsey accounted for two of the IU scores, both on the ground. Ramsey also found Nick Westbrook for a late touchdown pass, but an onside kick attempt did not work.
Purdue finishes the regular season 6-6, with a 5-4 mark in conference games. A second straight bowl game awaits the Boilermakers.
IU finishes the season 5-7, with a 2-7 mark in conference games. Coach Tom Allen's second season in Bloomington ends the same way his first did, with identical overall and conference records, as well as a season-ending loss to Purdue in the Old Oaken Bucket game.

That could be curtains for the Hoosiers.
After cutting the deficit to just seven points, the Hoosiers allow the Boilermakers to march down the field, going 75 yards in just six plays. Markell Jones, a senior, had a 32-yard rushing touchdown for the score, dragging several IU players into the end zone with him.

The Hoosiers have their first points of the second half via a 23-yard rushing touchdown from Peyton Ramsey.
A 79-yard, eight-play scoring drive from IU featured three completions from Ramsey to Donavan Hale before the rushing touchdown.
IU remains down by a touchdown, needing a win to make the postseason.

It's Rondale Moore again. Purdue's speedy wide receiver shakes Jonathan Crawford for a 33-yard touchdown catch.
The Boilermakers have their first two-score lead of the game.
Blough had a perfect pass over Crawford's shoulder for the touchdown.
* TURNOVER ON DOWNS (5:43 to go in the 3rd quarter) Purdue leads IU 14-7.
The Hoosiers are unsuccessful on 4th and 9 as Ramsey fails to scramble for the necessary yardage near the Purdue red zone.
IU was stuck in no man's land in terms of field position, as it wasn't a close enough position from which to comfortably attempt a field goal.
Hoosiers now 4/12 on third down plays today and Purdue get the ball at its own 24.
* HALFTIME: Purdue leads IU 14-7.
Hoosiers get the ball to start the second half, but momentum and the score is in the favor of the visitors.
Logan Justus missed a 47-yard field goal as time expired in the first half, marking another missed scoring opportunity for IU following the interception.
A 56-yard touchdown pass from David Blough to Rondale Moore is the difference at the break.

Senior right tackle Brandon Knight is injured for IU. He is able to walk off the field under his own power and takes a seat on the training table on the IU sideline.
* TOUCHDOWN (4:30 to go in the first half) Purdue leads 14-7.
On the first play after the IU three-and-out, Rondale Moore makes his first major contribution to the game.
Blough finds Moore on a 56-yard touchdown pass, as Moore beat the IU secondary, which featured one defender who fell down. Moore caught the pass, broke a tackle and sprinted into the end zone.
Momentum was with IU, it is now with Purdue.
* TURNOVER ON DOWNS (6:07 to go in the first half) The game is tied 7-7.
Purdue went for it on 4th and 1 from the IU 10-yard line, but got nowhere thanks to a stop from defensive lineman Kayton Samuels.
But, IU is unable to take advantage and goes three and out on offense.
* TOUCHDOWN (10:52 to go in the first half) The game is tied 7-7.
An eight-yard rushing touchdown by Stevie Scott on a 4th and 1 play ties the game for IU.
The scoring drive from IU last 14 plays and went nearly 90 yards. A pair of big pass interference penalties against the Boilermakers bailed out the Hoosiers on that drive.
IU went for it twice on fourth down situations during the drive. Stevie Scott now has 56 rushing yards today while Peyton Ramsey has 75 yards passing.
* END OF 1st QUARTER: Purdue leads IU 7-0.
A touchdown reception by Isaac Zico is the lone score of the first period.
The Hoosiers have gotten into the Boilermaker backfield well so far, recording four tackles for loss, including two sacks. IU has 103 yards gained and Purdue has 95 yards.
Stevie Scott is averaging 7.4 yards per carry for IU.

IU reached the Purdue 36-yard line, but failed to pick up any yardage on 3rd and 3 or 4th and 3. An incomplete pass to Ty Fryfogle, during a play in which the Purdue defense appeared to hold Fryfogle, ended the drive.
Stevie Scott began the drive with a 14-yard rush, but then the IU drive ended with five straight pass plays.

The Boilermakers used chunk plays to have initial success on their second rive of the game. Gains of 16, eight, 12 and nine yards moved the ball into IU territory, and when the Purdue drive stalled near the IU red zone, a roughing the passer penalty on Allen Stallings IV of IU extended the drive.
An 11-yard touchdown pass from David Blough to Isaac Zico capped the drive and made sure the visitors took advantage the penalty call.
12 plays and 85 yards was the drive.
