Former IU men’s basketball player and current Indiana Pacers guard Victor Oladipo was taken off the court on a stretcher Wednesday night in a game against the Toronto Raptors according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.
Oladipo attempted to make a defensive play on Raptors forward Pascal Siakam, but collapsed to the floor in pain after an awkward step.
Entering Wednesday’s game, the former Hoosier was averaging 19.2 points, 5.3 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game for the Pacers.
In Oladipo's final year at IU, he was named the 2013 National Player of the Year by Sporting News and was a finalist for the Wooden Award, Robertson Trophy and Naismith Award.
He scored 1117 points and recorded 538 rebounds in three years with the Hoosiers.
