The third Hoosier was drafted in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft on Monday afternoon.
Senior defender Francesco Moore was taken by the Portland Timbers with the 71st overall pick in the third round.
In 2018, Moore earned his second First-Team All-Big Ten and All-Region selection. Moore started 86 of 88 career matches and had three goals and eight assists in his career.
He was also a part of the backline that helped IU secure 15 shutouts this season, which led the country. During his career, IU posted 54 shutouts.
Moore was the 48th IU player selected in the MLS SuperDraft since 1996. Sophomore midfielder Griffin Dorsey was taken sixth overall by Toronto FC, and senior defender Rece Buckmaster was selected by the New York Red Bulls with the 32nd overall pick.
