Ahead of Monday night’s home game against Nebraska, the IU men’s basketball team fell three spots from No. 22 in the country to No. 25 in this week's Associated Press poll.
Monday’s rankings saw the Hoosiers maintain their top-25 status, despite losing their only game played last week at Maryland.
Head Coach Archie Miller’s team debuted in the rankings tied for 25th in December prior to its Crossroads Classic victory against Butler University.
Since then, the Hoosiers have climbed as high as No. 21 in the poll earlier this month.
A total of five Big Ten teams are in this week’s rankings, led by No. 2 Michigan, followed by No. 6 Michigan State, No. 19 Maryland, No. 23 Iowa and then IU.
Nebraska, Ohio State, Wisconsin, Purdue and Minnesota also received votes for the poll.
IU will play two teams, Nebraska and Purdue, this week, which received a combined 52 votes to be included in the top 25.
