A Millikan Smiles employee found a Colorado woman dead Monday morning behind the dentist’s office.
Police said the employee found Amber Cobb, 38, hunched over behind the office. Bloomington Police Department Lt. John Kovach said there were no signs of foul play or any apparent injuries.
Police arrived at the dentist’s office around 8:30 a.m. Monday, Kovach said. He said an ID found on Cobb indicated she was from Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The woman appeared to be homeless, Kovach said. Bottles of alcohol were found near her body. Though her cause of death is uncertain, he said police believe Cobb may have died of alcohol poisoning or a drug overdose.
