The Indiana Memorial Union Starbucks closed Feb. 14 due to a water main break. The IMU temporarily shut down the water for the entire building to ensure the safety of students and faculty, IMU custodian Nic Turner said.
“It’s a safety concern because the water main break can cause debris and other things to get into the water,” Turner said.
The water was turned back on around 11 a.m., but Turner said she is unsure when the Starbucks will reopen. The location is usually open from 7:30 a.m. to 11 p.m Thursdays.
