A structure fire in the 9600 block of South State Road 446 left one person dead Monday night, according to a press release from the Monroe County Coroner.
The coroner is working to identify the deceased and determine the cause of death.
The Indiana State Police and the Indiana State Fire Marshall are investigating the case.
