Comedian Ron White will return to Bloomington to perform his new stand-up show at 8 p.m. March 22 at the IU Auditorium.
Nicknamed “Tater Salad,” White is best known as a member of the comedy troupe Blue Collar Comedy Tour. The cigar-smoking and Scotch-drinking comedian also wrote the book “I Had the Right to Remain Silent...But I Didn't Have the Ability,” a collection of jokes and stories from his life, which was featured on the New York Times Best Seller list.
White has received three Grammy nominations. Most recently, he can be seen starring in JJ Abrams’ 2016 Showtime series, “Roadies.”
Last year, the Netflix comedy special “Ron White: If You Quit Listening, I'll Shut Up,” became available for streaming. White also has his own tequila called “Number Juan Tequila.”
The stand-up comedy show is targeted toward mature audiences as it contains cynical and raunchy humor.
The tickets for the event start at $41.50 and can be purchased online and at the box office.
