A woman reportedly stole $915 of replacement electric toothbrush heads and hair loss products Monday afternoon from the CVS on North College Avenue.
Bloomington Police Department Captain Ryan Pedigo said a CVS store supervisor called police at 2:15 p.m. to report the theft. Another CVS employee informed the supervisor of the suspected theft.
The woman stole $316.44 of hair loss products and $598.83 of toothbrush replacement heads, said Pedigo. The stolen items included three packs of Viviscal Extra Strength Hair Growth Supplement Tablets, Rogaine, Oral B and Philips Sonicare toothbrush heads and additional hair loss products.
Pedigo said security camera footage showed the suspect was a white female in her 30s wearing a black shirt and shoes with gray pants and carrying a large tan bag.
The woman entered CVS at 1:26 p.m., bought a $2.14 pair of socks and exited the store at 1:33 p.m. Pedigo said CVS employees told police they believed the suspect stored the stolen items in her bag.
Police are trying to identify the suspect, and the investigation is still active.
