Bloomington Police Department received a call about 5:40 a.m. Tuesday from a man who reported hearing a loud crack and noticed his back passenger side window was shattered.
Bloomington Police Department Sgt. Ryan Pedigo said the man wasn’t sure how the window was broken. The man told police he was driving west on 10th Street from Smith Road when it shattered.
Pedigo said police believe it was shattered using a BB gun because there was no sign of a bullet from a rifle or handgun in the car.
Pedigo said BPD received a call Saturday morning from a Papa John’s delivery driver. She told police she was driving on 10th Street when she heard a loud pop, and she realized her rear window on the driver’s side of her car was damaged.
The second car's window was cracked but not shattered. BPD has no suspect information but believe a BB gun was used to target the cars.
