The Buskirk-Chumley Theater will be closed through May 10 due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus, according to a statement released by the theater on Tuesday. Events during the time period will be canceled or postponed.
The events include not only those in the theater but also some at other Bloomington venues ticketed by the BCT Box Office & Downtown Visitors Center, such as the Monroe Convention Center and the Fourth and Rogers Center for Contemporary Arts.
According to executive director Jonah Crismore, the theater will be contacting people who purchased tickets, informing them of the postponed and canceled events and issuing refunds. Crismore said the refund distribution depends on the event.
The canceled and postponed events, as indicated by the BCT Box Office website, are listed below with their previously scheduled dates.
