An estimated 37 Bloomington residences along East Kerr Road were without power Monday afternoon, according to the Duke Energy Outage Map. Duke Energy spokesperson Lew Middleton said the power has now been restored to the 7,387 customers.
The outage was caused by a tree limb falling into wires 1:18 p.m. Monday at a substation, Middleton said.
The power was restored around 2:18 p.m., Middleton said.
