A Bloomington Transit driver tested positive for COVID-19 on Nov. 24, according to a press release from the city.
The employee has not worked since Nov. 16, when they first started experiencing symptoms. Contact tracing concluded no employees or customers are at risk. This is the fourth BT employee to test positive — the last one was on Oct. 21.
The past weeks have seen numerous positive tests among city employees including four Bloomington Police Department workers, two sanitation employees and a Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department employee.
