An additional Bloomington employee tested positive for COVID-19 Friday, according to a release from the city. This is the 43rd positive test among city employees since March.
An employee with the Department of Public Works Fleet Division after first experiencing symptoms Nov. 28. They’ve been on paid leave since Nov. 30.
There were no close contacts identified among co-workers or the general public.
Last week another employee in the Department of Public Works and multiple fire department employees tested positive.
