The IU Auditorium will livestream a masterclass entitled “Building the IU Auditorium Season: A Masterclass with Doug Booher” at 8 p.m. Jan. 28 .
The master class will focus on how a season of performances at the auditorium comes together and how the auditorium prepares for the multiple events.
In addition to his role as the executive director of the auditorium, Booher also is the Executive Director of University Events and IU Event Services. In these roles, he oversees numerous proceedings including athletic events, live performances and commencement ceremonies.
Booher began working at the IU Auditorium in 1991 as a volunteer usher. He has been in charge of the booking process at the IU Auditorium since 1999.
The event is free and will be aired over Zoom and on the IU Auditorium Facebook page.
