IU women’s basketball will no longer host Rutgers on Monday due to COVID-19 concerns within the Rutgers program, according to a statement released Thursday by Rutgers Athletics.
Monday’s game against IU marks Rutgers’ fourth postponement. Games against Purdue, Ohio State and Northwestern were also postponed, according to the statement. IU women’s basketball and the Big Ten conference are working to reschedule the game to a later date.
The Hoosiers will next play Michigan State on Jan. 21 in East Lansing, Michigan.
