IU Health Medical Arts and Monroe Convention Center COVID-19 vaccination sites will be closed Monday due to upcoming winter weather and dropping temperatures, according to a Sunday Monroe County press release.

Monroe County residents who were scheduled to receive their vaccine at the IU Health distribution location will receive an email or text with information on how to reschedule their appointment. Those scheduled at the convention center should receive a text notifying them of the closure and a call to reschedule their appointment in the next two to three days, according to the release.

IU Health and Monroe County will continue to monitor the weather throughout the week to determine any closures, officials said at a Friday conference call.
